Toddler Room

Toddlers are naturally inquisitive and our emphasis in this room is on making friends, sharing, learning how to play and investigating the environment both inside and out.

We recognise and encourage your child’s emerging independence whilst still offering plenty of cuddles and love.

The room has a carpeted area for story time, quieter activities and a space for a snooze and an area for creative activities and messy play.  The toddlers also have their own toilet facilities and whilst staff closely supervise them at all times, your child is encouraged towards independent use.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework in the Toddler Room, producing careful planning for activities which you are welcome to view at any time.

Ofsted confirms that our “children are enabled to develop good habits as active, inquisitive and independent learners.”
